實際上忠實于開源運動的大多是我們這些程序員，那么是不是或許可以說，開源實際上對我們來說可以看成我們自己創造的福氣。一方面，在開源活動中我們的技術能力和手段最終轉變成聲譽，將給我們這些一心樸實做程序的人帶來更好的職業機會和選擇；另一方面，憑借多年修煉的技術背景和對當前開源軟件的運用，輔以適當的市場眼光，也會給我們的人生帶來更多的機會。
這樣說實際上多少基于這樣一種現實，那就是在現在的條件下，程序員被看成是給老板加班賣命，干得最多吃的最少的苦角色，網絡上經常可以見到拿我們同民工同妓女的比較，現實中你是否也感到身體開始臃腫，體力開始下降，腰背疼痛開始滋生呢，更有一些過勞死之類的陰影時時籠罩著我們，驗證著程序員只能吃青春飯的斷言。
開源這件事情不見得能夠讓我們擺脫這種“悲慘世界”里的命運，但是卻可能給我們帶來更好的生存條件。朋友們，不管你是真正追求技術，還是迫于生存壓力，都應該認清形勢，磨練經驗，在工作和生活的環境中不斷向前看，跟進技術快速發展的脈搏，這才是王道啊。
